Event Time and Date
SUNY Oswego is committed to an environment where people of diverse identity groups are welcomed and supported on our campus. This is a great opportunity to increase your own knowledge base, and better support our campus community.
What is a Safe Zone?
This program aims to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills for individuals and address the challenges that exist when one wants to advocate for their LGBTQ peers, family members, friends, coworkers, and themselves.*
A Safe Zone is a classroom, office space, residence hall, friend group, or community. In creating safe spaces, we provide welcoming, inclusive spaces so that all people are empowered to reach their full potential.*
